The difference between the £25 low deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

  1. We loved Villa Julia. Great pool, (which has a safety alarm) big and interesting garden, masses of space in the villa itself. Lovely view of vines and hills. Helpful owner, always available by phone. Quite a long walk to nearby villages. Well equipped but beware of the induction hob if you’re not used to them! June 2012.

  1. This is the best accommodation we have ever rented in France. The owner was cheerful as well as helpful; the housekeeper was efficient and quiet; the property is in a spectacular location, well furnished and decorated, and everything worked! Parking in the heart of a medieval village was easy. We are booking the property again for the spring next year and we have never repeated a stay anywhere! Oct 2012.

  3. The house is lovely and spacious - there were 4 of us and we had plenty of room. Having 2 kitchens was really helpful considering the accommodation was spread over 3 floors and both were very well equipped. It is worth noting that the sun terrace on the top floor (which is lovely) is fairly small and it would be a squeeze accommodating 6 people around the round table for dining. There are also only 2 sun loungers. The listing also includes a BBQ but we didn’t see one at the property. We were there in late June and the weather was HOT (30-35 degrees) but with a gentle breeze on most days to help cool you down. Le Barroux is a quiet little village and not full of tourists, which is what we particularly liked about it and was a great base to see and do loads in the surrounding area (Mont Ventoux, wine tasting, pretty hilltop villages etc). The chateau in the village (seen from the terrace) is worth a walk to and has great views. The food markets in the vicinity are fabulous and plentiful and it was great to be able to shop for fresh local produce and then cook up delicious feasts in the great downstairs kitchen. June 2012.
  4. Our stay at Le Collectionneur was fantastic, and greatly exceeded our expectations. The house is split over 4 levels and has an amazing array of features. You could spend a day walking around admiring the rooms with their art work & antiques. The 1st & 3rd floors have kitchens, living rooms and street access with luxurious bedrooms located on the 2nd & 3rd floors. There is a dining area on the 4th floor which was perfect for watching the sunset and enjoying a few drinks.. We were a party of 4 but it could easily accommodate 6-8 without getting in each other’s way. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathrooms are spotless and big enough to get lost in. There are 2 well equipped kitchens with every cooking utensil you could imagine. The sun deck on the 3rd floor has a magnificent view over the countryside and you look up to an equally amazing view of the Chateau that sits above La Barroux. La Barroux is a great town with very friendly locals and was a great place to base ourselves for the week. We did day trips throughout Provence and found that we were no more then 30-45mins from most of the main tourist attractions. Michael, the owner and host was fantastic also, my girlfriend and I both became sick and he personally drove us to the doctor and translated for us. He was a wealth of information and gave us excellent recommendations on what to do and where to go. I would definitely recommend this property as you will not be disappointed. April 2012.
  5. A wonderful house in a very pretty Provençal hill top village. The facilities in the house were excellent, it lacked for nothing and each room was an experience in itself - especially the lower kitchen and large dining room candle lit in the evening - total drama! The views from the roof terrace were wonderful and the stairs to all the floors a built in keep fit regime! May 2012.

  1. A unique property but be aware of the four levels - good views but a good few steps! Property was spotlessly clean. Some noise from water and neighbours heard from the single bedroom. A pleasant welcome and a lovely village from which to explore the Luberon and further afield. Sept 2012.
  2. The pictures on the website do not do this property justice. The accommodation is quirky and charming, with lots of character. There is total privacy in and around the property and the setting is idyllic. Lauris itself has 4 restaurants that vary in terms of price and quality - Lou Pebre D’aÏ and L’Argelas being the better, and both offering a delicious menu and value for money. July 2012.
  3. The property was well situated. In a very nice and interesting village with all shops and a good restaurant within walking distance. IT was on the main road through the village so there was traffic noise but nothing that was unacceptable. Very good parking within grounds. Have said the photos give good representation of property but if anything they do no do it justice. There is a terrace above the swimming pool that you have sole use of which has full sun but there is a very nice olive tree to give shade.June 2012.

  6. Les Jardins de Magali has plenty of character, is spacious and well-equipped. The terrace/balcony which overlooks the road is an excellent vantage point as well as ideal for breakfast or dinner. The owner was an engaging and welcoming host and we felt very at ease throughout the week. Lauris is better as a jumping-off point than a destination but there is so much to enjoy in the area.   7. A gite with a fascinating history which is related with real enthusiasm by the owner. As we wanted to spend some time in Aix the location was perfect. Lauris itself also has a lot to offer. The weather for the week that we were there was stunning. When we got back to England it was as if someone had switched the lights out. June 2012.

The balcony was great to sit at for breakfast and all evening, watching the swallows.It was unusual, and mostly quiet, but some traffic noise when people came home from work, that did not bother us. The village of Lauris was just right, traditional with great food shops and not touristy, with the gorgeous Lourmarin nearby and all Vaucluse within easy reach. May 2012.

  1. A picturesque find, this: for anyone looking for an authentic French countryside retreat for a couple of weeks, this would be hard to beat. It is the perfect springboard for the Vaucluse and beyond, though it’s location in the middle of spectacular Cotes-du-Rhone wine country might make it too dangerous a temptation for reforming alcoholics. Well equipped and spacious, this property comfortably sleeps and accommodates six with room to rattle; eight might be a squeeze. The owners are friendly and easy-going, but also attentive. A great experience. Sept 2012.
  2. This was our second visit to La Peyriere and we enjoyed it every bit as much as our first. The view is so beautiful and the scent of hot pine needles so very Provence. Sit back, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy. Sept 2012.
  3. La Peyriere is a beautiful, old, stone farmhouse nestled on a hillside surrounded by olive trees and vines. The view is stunning. Of all the gites we have stayed in over the years, this is by far the best - in terms of accommodation, location and atmosphere. We loved it so much we have already rebooked for next year and we’ve never done that before. Sept 2011.
