  • 3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
  • 4. ~“Nothing more to pay until 2014” applies to bookings for arrivals between 13th March and 31st December 2014. Bookings made for arrivals between 1st January and 12th March 2014 will have balance payments due at the end of 2013.

The difference between the £25 low deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

  1. The property had the ’wow’ factor - very French, very rustic looking but with all mod cons. The owner was friendly, helpful and welcoming. It was an added bonus that each apartment had its own large but discreet garden. July 2010.

  4. This place is great for kids who need to be entertained whilst at the accommodation. With a trampoline, slide, swing, swimming pool and bikes, you don’t even need to leave! Having said that there are loads of places that we and the kids loved. May 2009.
  5. This really is excellent value for money accommodation. The accommodation is especially a good choice for families with children. There are lots of things to keep them occupied including; an indoor swimming pool, large garden area, trampoline, horse and rabbits. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Les Bambous. July 2008.
  6. Les Bambous exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was excellent, the owner and his wife were extermely helpful. The furnishings were of a high standard and very clean.The children loved the play area and in particular the indoor swimming pool was a great success. We would definitely go back! Aug 2007.

  1. Great house for a holiday with family or friends. Easy access into Le Touquet and the beach (20 mins gentle stroll or 5 mins by bike). Lovely pool with area for BBQs, garden for children’s games and outside terrace for adult wine tasting! Sept 2012.

  1. A good sized, comfortable property in a rural location. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. A word of warning to those visiting with young children however - the gardens at front and rear are large, BUT the ground is extremely uneven and could easily lead to twisted ankles! July 2011.

  5. The cottage was ideal for families or couples. The kitchen had everything you would need to enjoy your holiday. A large garden with garden furniture for when the weather is good. The bedrooms were basic but adequate with comfortable beds. As much hot water as you need. A good over-bath shower. To top it off a good price. Sept 2010.

  8. Beautifully located with fields on 3 sides (and a church on the other), half way through our time the farmer relocated some of his cows into them, it just added to a rural holiday. The local town of Fruges had a supermarket was adequate for our needs, had to buy our own b.b.q though as there was not one there (and the weather was so nice as well), we have stayed at many cottages over the years and this one, I have to say , was one of the only ones we said we would go back to. April 2010.

  1. Local markets are worth a visit particularly for fresh produce to cook. For walkers a map of local footpaths is essential as these are lovely but hard to locate without a map. For those who are "bargain hunt" fans there are some great local second hand/collectors shops, Brocanti in french, we picked up a few bargains! May 2012.
  2. Maison Florence is set in a quaint little village with lovely character and in a peaceful location. We enjoyed our stay very much and we slept very well, the property is is well equipped and has the benefit of freeview tv. The first few days the weather was not very good but it did,not stop us from enjoying the local markets and medieval town of Arras. All in all we would recommend this property. May 2012.

  2. This is our second visit to Lombardie, we went last May as well, and will certainly be returning. If you like peace and quiet, comfortable relaxing surroundings, and real French culture (without tourist trappings) this is the place for you. It is a beautiful gite and has charming owners. We love it! May 2012.

We were able to travel to Brugges and to Brussels from here, near to supermarkets and near enough to the coast and main roads to get around.   8. I broke my ankle a couple of weeks before our holiday, but this was not a problem at the property, which was one of the best we have ever stayed at. We have described it as "spacious" but there were only 2 of us (plus dog) in a property that would have slept 6 in 2 bedrooms. Very well equipped. Sept 2011.

  11. Had a fantastic holiday here, one of our best ever. Impossible to fault anything. Owner has thought of everything and is close by if needs be. Her English is perfectly OK for general holiday related conversation and she is friendly and approachable. We spent most of out time on the terrace, enjoying the peace and quiet. The weather was sunshine from start to finish but property is also well equipped for winter or when it rains. Some good historical sites nearby as well as the coast all within 20-30 minutes of the property. APril 2011.
  12. Easier route from Boulogne - St.Omer (N42) is to turn off for Brunembert onto to Selles to Vellinghem. It is a 20 minute drive from Boulonge. The property was excellent and the owner helpful although limited English. April 2011.

  14. This is by far the best gite I have ever stayed in. Modern & fresh, yet full of character & charm. Everything you could possibly need is supplied, even travel plugs. We arrived at 6pm on a cold dark winter night to find the place cosy & warm & the woodburner already lit. The patio & outside lighting are superb (not much fun in January, but summer visitors will love it). The owners are next door if you need them, but very discreet & you are not overlooked by any other property. Dec 2010.
