  • *1.These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions.
  • 2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 31st March 2014.
  • 3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
  • 4. ~“Nothing more to pay until 2014” applies to bookings for arrivals between 13th March and 31st December 2014. Bookings made for arrivals between 1st January and 12th March 2014 will have balance payments due at the end of 2013.
  • 5. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
  • 6. The difference between the £25 low deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

  1. A well situated property convenient for visiting the local sites in a pretty location. Our host was friendy and welcoming and the accommodation very good. A lovely covered outdoor seating area overooking the pool - perfect for breakfast and supper. Sept 2012.

  1. The pictures of this villa do not do it justice. The setting is fantastic and the pool is big and kept very clean. There is a very large patio area around the pool which gets full sun all day. The villa itself had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and welcoming. Far better than the photos show it. The village of Alignan du Vent is very friendly and the little paper shop even ordered an English paper during our stay. Sept 2012.
  2. We have had several villa holidays in France and we all agreed that this was the best overall. The swimming pool was great in good sized grounds which even had a boules pitch. The house was of a good size well furnished and suited us as 2 couples, with bedrooms and bathrooms on both floors. The local village was small but several shops including 2 boulangeries, a butchers, supermarket and a coffee shop, although this was closed whilst we were on holiday. A good area to explore mostly within an hours drive. The caretaker/key holder,originally from England was most helpful and worth talking to for ideas of places to visit. June 2012.

  7. The property is stunning, as are the views. The swimming pool is a great size, and always clean and warm! It is well situated, within walking distance of the charming village, and easy drive to many beautiful towns, beaches, cities, and supermarkets! My teenage son also asked me to state that ’Mr Box’ is a legend! The caretaker was very helpful and friendly! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jordade. it was fabulous. Aug 2009.

  1. We shared this property with another family. Everything was as described on the website; the kitchen was particularly well equipped and everything was very clean. We were anxious that the air-conditioning would be adequate (in bedrooms only), but it was fine. However, the 3rd and 4th bedrooms were very small, and one of them had no cupboard/drawer space at all. The terrace/garden/pool area was better than the pictures show. There were plenty of chairs and sunloungers, along with suitable cushions. The dining area on the terrace is lovely, with a solid granite table and 8 metal chairs, again with cushions (stored in the garage). We ate out there most evenings. Of course, the pool was a big hit with the kids, hard to get them out! There were also pool toys in the garage which they made use of. The location is very quiet, but still only 10-15 minute walk to the village centre. The Champion Supermarket is a very short drive away for stocking up on groceries and petrol. The village is pleasant - shops, bars, restaurants - but the Art Museum is really special, don’t miss it. We had a very nice meal at the Tapas restaurant opposite Bar Picasso - can’t remember the full name, sorry. We tried to find the "cascade" in the picture, but all we could find was a little trickle over a few stones, and a rather overgrown and unattractive pond! We visited the Gorge de la Fou, the narrowest Gorge in Europe, accessed by a 1.5 km walkway; try and get there before lunch, as there was a long queue and problems parking by the time we exited mid-afternoon. Argeles Beach - wide and lovely, but madly busy in August! Parking a big problem (we were lucky!) Take a trip across the border into Spain through the Pyrennees - as long as no one gets car sick on the twisty, windy, mountain roads! The villages and scenery are beautiful, and you can come down onto the main road to return home. We drove down - be prepared for a LONG trip, break it up with at least one overnight stop (we stayed in the Hotel Angleterre in Bourges, a fantastic medieval town with fabulous catherdral!) We also got caught in terrible traffic both ways along the South main roads - so go off-season, or plan your journey very early/late in the day - be warned!

  1. This is the ideal holiday location if you want peace & quiet. David & Pam, the owners who live next door, are wonderful hosts who are so discreet you wonder if they actually live there. The property is equipped to a very high standard, nothing is forgotten. The area provides charming villages to visit. This is a beautiful area of France that we will visit again. We had, probably, our best holiday for many, many years. Sept 2011.
