If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

  1. Excellent standard. Very peaceful location. June 2012.
  2. Pretty, quiet, comfortable cottage but very remote. Few nice local walks around the hamlet, otherwise Hautefort is reasonably close but other places of interest are quite a way away. Owners very helpful but not intrusive. It would have been nice to be able to walk to a restaurant or bar, we would go again because of the remoteness. June 2012.
  3. It was a home from home, peaceful, tranquil, it really was bliss, and nice to have no internet for a change. Mr and Mrs Green were very accommodating and ask if we required the pool that day and recommended local shops etc. We came back really relaxed. Sept 2011.

  1. One of the most comfortable and beautiful properties we have ever stayed in. Great place for a large family, with plenty of room, a beautiful pool and a stunning location. June 2012.
  2. The owners were extremely friendly and despite our concerns had a very good command of English. They arranged for a lady (Lillianne) to cook us a special meal for a birthday and it was absolutely fantastic. May 2012.

  1. The owners were wonderful - helpful and informative. The photos on line do not do it justice. Les Hirrondelle was one of the most picturesque and relaxing holidays we have hadd for a long time. For this time of year be sure to take something to beat the ’’mossies’ or be prepared to dunk in the beautiful swimming pool. July 2012.

  1. We had a lovely time at the property, it is ideally situated for many of the areas attractions. Domme and Sarlat within easy striking distance. Had an enjoyable day canoeing down river from the company just on the main road near the drive entrance. The owner friendly and took time to tell us of the best shops and attractions etc. Great holiday, thank you Gerald! Sept 2012.

  3. La Bourgeoisie is in an excellent location for visiting towns along the valley of the river Dordogne. Domme is right on its doorstep and it is only a short drive (or canoe ride) down the river to the historic towns such as Cenac. Sarlat has a beautiful old town to explore canoeing down the Dordogne has to be the highlight of the holiday, even our 5yr old son was given his own paddle to assist. June 2011.
  4. The property was beautifully decorated and located in a great quite and picturesque area with great pool. June 2010.
  5. We visited this farmhouse for Christmas and although out of season there was still plenty to see and do. The under floor heating was excellent, there was a fantastic log fire and each bedroom had an en suite. The owners made us very welcome, they spoke English and recommended which local shops and restaurants to use. We visited Salat Christmas market and the walled town of Domme. Several Chateaus were open all the year round. Dec 2009.
  6. Huge well equipped kitchen with range cooker, American, double door, fridge freezer and excellent range of cooking utensils crockery and cutlery. Supplied with detergents for washing machine/dishwasher and general cleaning materials.Well furnished large lounge. Huge well equipped bedrooms with excellent bathrooms. Superb pool and location. Table tennis table and table football in covered area. Excellent location with canoe hire within walking distance as was Domme if you are active ie 1 hours walk. Owner supplied 2 bikes and provided excellent info on local facilities. We expected a lot from the brochure description but the property exceeded our expectations. The only issue is with the 4th bedroom in the attic which has very small window with no curtain or shutter and sloping roof. Not up to the same standard as other rooms by virtue of its location/construction but this was expected as seen on web site. Sept 2009.

  8. A great property in a fantastic location. It was beautifully restored and presented, with extremely well proportioned rooms, lounge and kitchen. The grounds were very spacious and the pool lovely. The area is perfect for sight seeing with many key attractions close by and the river Dordogne in walking distance or a short car trip. Excellent for families or for adults wanting to explore the area and relax. Great Hosts. July 2009.

  11. We went in a party of 7 and I can speak for us all that we had the most fantastic time. We all did quite a lot of research on various websites but found yours the easiest and quickest to use. The photographs of the property did not do it justice and we were astounded at it’s beauty and size when we arrived. The grounds and pool were beautifully maintained and the surrounding area was also beautiful. We want to keep this place a secret so we can keep coming back but we can’t stop talking about it!!!   1. We found this a pleasant house in beautiful grounds. But some people may find its isolation, being surrounded by woods and 400 metres from the nearest house, a little daunting, especially as the bedrooms are all on the ground floor. Sept 2012.

  1. We holidayed in this villa for a week and it was superb in every respect. The villa itself is beautiful, the location perfect, the pool and the overall standard are first class. The location although rural has a number of beautiful villages with everything you could possibly want including some lovely restaurants. This was a return visit in a sense as we had stayed in a sister villa Mas Laborie in Les Arques last year, which was equally stunning and enjoyable. Both can be highly recommended for a relaxing holiday. June 2011.
  2. We stayed at Mas del Pech in September when the fruit trees were literally dripping with figs, quince, pears, apples and walnuts. What a wonderful place to spend a relaxing week, swimming in the pool, reading in the sunshine. Mas del Pech is beautifully furnished, very comfortable and equipped for every eventuality. Its position is perfect for a tranquil rest or a busy family holiday exploring the local villages, countryside or interesting towns in the vicinity. The locals are very friendly and anxious to put you right if you get lost in the wonderful lanes round about, and the local produce in the markets is both colourful and delicious as we found at some cost to our waistlines. This lovely and beautifully furnished house is enhanced by a wonderful pool and stunning views in a very pretty rural part of France, with your very own supply of figs and fruit from the trees in the garden. We did not need to use any firewood – the weather was spectacular, 25 degrees every day. Sept 2009.

  7. We rate Mas del Pech at the head of the seven French houses which we have hired over the years since 1997. For a family of grandad, grandma, two daughters, their husbands and five grandchildren, it has been quite ideal - the juniors in the grange. The situation, with its peerless view and the pool, have been much delighted in. Everyone who was involved in cooking admired the kitchen. The TV - coinciding with a week of the Olympics - was much appreciated. Once we had found them all, we appreciated having so many toilets - even the one with limited headroom! Aug 2008.
  8. This was my first holiday to France and the farmhouse was lovely you could not fault it in any way . We were unlucky with the weather as it rained for 10 days , however it didn’t stop my daughter enjoying the pool . The location was fantastic with the best views ever , we explored all the surrounding areas and saw some amazing places i.e.: Rocamadour and Beynac . We have already booked to go back next year to the Loire valley. July 2007.
  9. We stayed for a perfect week in July 2010, a couple, mother in-law and two infants, driving down to the Lot from the ferry crossing at Roscoff. The house is easy to find, is very pretty and immaculately presented, as were the swimming pool and extensive, landscaped grounds. The rural location is ideal, situated just outside the small village of Gindou, with stunning views over rolling countryside from the rear terrace and pool area.
  10. The owner has clearly put a great deal of time and thought into this magnificent renovation of an old farmhouse and the finishing touches, layout and utilities, made for very welcoming accommodation.
  11. The surrounding quaint villages, shops and outdoor markets are within easy reach as are the larger local supermarkets. The farmhouse is a great place to stay for total relaxation or for touring the delights of both the Lot and the Dordogne. The weather was very hot and sunny while we were there, but there is plenty to see and do in the area, so would keep everyone entertained even in the cooler months
  12. If you would rather fly and rent a car locally, the small and pleasant Bergerac airport is within easy reach, which offers car hire and flights to several UK city airports.
  13. We would give Mas Del Peche 10 out of 10 and would love to return in the future.

  1. The rooms are all well set out, comfortable and had enough space and furniture for the whole family. The owners had clearly put a lot of thought into the design and in providing comfort for the guests which made us feel very at home. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with appliances that you don’t generally expect in a holiday let but that were well appreciated. June 2010.
