  • *1.These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions.
  • 2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 31st March 2014.
  • 3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
  • 4. ~“Nothing more to pay until 2014” applies to bookings for arrivals between 13th March and 31st December 2014. Bookings made for arrivals between 1st January and 12th March 2014 will have balance payments due at the end of 2013.
  • 5. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
  • 6. The difference between the £25 low deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

  2. Very nice cottage in the middle of one of the most pretty villages in France. The owners make you feel at home. The cottage has been decorated with care providing today’s comfort in a centuries old setting, very nicely done. July 2012.
  3. Maison Grande Creme is an excellent property - the pictures on the web site are an accurate reflection of the property. There was nothing we could fault. The owners were friendly and welcoming. You will enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace soaking up the view. Montreal village is picture perfect, too! May 2012.
  4. The pictures do not do this property justice! The owners Christine & Grahame were great hosts. With plenty of tips on where to viit. The kitchen was fully equipped and as we prefer to buy local food and cook in the property this was splendid. The property was in a mediveal village with a beatiful church. If you visit anywhere take the trip to Beaune. The town is full of charm. As we visited in April we never used the pool as the weather although it reached 18 degrees was not quite hot enough. All in all we had a terrific time, great house, great area. Thanks! March 2012.
  5. Beautifully presented, comfortable beds and furnishings, heated (really necessary at the end of October). Good amount of info of things to do plus local history. Would have appreciated a welcome pack of essentials such as bread , milk, eggs, as no shops nearby , and after a long drive in pouring rain did not want to go 15 kilometers to find a restaurant.   6. The property was very well stocked with kitchen items, e.g. washing liquid, powder, dishwasher tablets, rubber gloves. Also, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, etc which had been purchased by previous tenants had been left for use - it meant we had an easier start. July 2010.

  2. The property is a charming property within easy walking distance (2 to 3 minutes) of the centre of Chablis with a beautiful and secluded garden. Although the kitchen requires updating, it didn’t detract from the charm and enjoyment of the holiday experience as a whole: we would be very happy to return. June 2010.

  1. This property is not suitable for young children or people with disabilities as there are many stairs (concrete) from the property to the gardens and drive. The ones to the garden are and cellar are high steps and a child could seriously injure themselves if they fell. Young children will need constant supervision on the balconies outside. PS the owner charges for cleaning to the tune of 58 euros and expects the property to be left absolutely pristine otherwise. We felt such things should have been included in the price of the holiday. The owner also speaks no Englsh so negotiations over ths matter are very difficult unless you speak good French. Aug 2012.

  1. This is in a really stunning position. The kitchen is small but it is possible to produce delicious meals using ingredients from the wonderful market in Autumn. The sofa in the sitting room is getting to the end of its life, and with a group of 6 the sitting room would be uncomfortable. Bathrooms have shower attachments but no separate showers. It is a wonderful old home and we loved it. Gloriously positioned tennis court and swimming pool. Sept 2011.

  1. This was one of the best gites we have stayed in. Everything was immaculate. The equipment was comprehensive and the owners discreet but there when needed. The location and views were superb. June 2012.

  1. Beautiful cottage/gite owned by a lovely, welcoming family. The property looks and is very traditional but is very well equipped so you have the best of both worlds. So much to do in the area for all ages from swimming at the Lac de Laives to visiting many, many beautiful and historic villages. Aug 2012.

  1. House is on the edge of a very peaceful hamlet with lovely views over the countryside. Plenty of space inside and out, well equipped (just remember there is no oven). Lots of easy pretty walks and the hamlet has its own winegrower from whom you can buy direct! Sept 2011.
  2. The property was very nice and certainly large enough for four people. The pool is a little small, but size is given, so should not be a surprise. There is a large garden and the views are terrific. Also very quiet. There is no oven, which might be useful to know in advance. The visitor’s book was very useful. July 2011.
