  2. We had a wonderful holiday. The location is amazing and we found fantastic walks, beaches and food. The garden was smaller than we imagined, (no room for ball games), it adjoins the farmhouse (though we hardly saw or heard the owners) and it’s quite close to the road into Plougasnou. These aren’t gripes, but are things we weren’t aware of before we travelled. It’s a very friendly little house and we highly recommend it. Aug 2011.

Nice secluded garden and helpful owner lives next door but speaks no English. Unconventional layout with steep open staircase (has child gates) and downstairs toilet. Small but adequate kitchen but lots of good places to eat within short drive. Just a bit too far to walk to regularly walk to local facilities but easy access in car or by bike. We loved it. Great access to fantastic coastline. Secluded garden. Rustic charm. Sense of being in real France. July 2009.

  1. Lovely riverside countryside location. Very pleasant owners; Mme Restoin made us very welcome and brought us some homemade Far Breton cake to give us a taste of one of the local specialities. Lots to see and do in the area,which is not far from Damgan and its oyster port and beaches. Plenty of history nearby too, and not too "touristy", so a good touring base as well. Definitely a good property for a couple, would stay there again. Sept 2012.

  1. Second visit; great property, very friendly owner who again gave a very warm welcome. So peaceful and quiet yet minutes from great beaches and beautiful towns etc. It doesn’t get much better. June 2012.

Warm, friendly and very helpful welcome on arrival to a house that exceeded our expectations; children will lose themselves for hours in the large (safe) enclosed garden or games shed (if you ever get them out the pool), whilst no adult cannot relax in the many areas of the property, (you will never be short of rooms or garden areas with views or appreciate more that a teenager can enjoy sounds in one room in the house whilst you hear nothing through the 90cm walls). Ideal house for any party on holiday. Exploring the villages of and towns of Brittany is a joy and the property is a very short (and easy drive) distance from several stunning beaches; the holiday house is in all ways Location, Location, Location.   1. Nice bungalow, good location. Our only reservation was that it wasn’t particularly generously equipped. Could have done with, for instance, a bigger chopping board, a teapot, a few more cupboards, perhaps even a few basic provisions for when we arrive (as many places have). But the lady who dealt with us there was extremely helpful and friendly and the warmth of her welcome really made up for those little deficiencies. Oh, and it has a DVD player, which isn’t in the details, as far as I remember. July 2012.

  1. Excellent accommodation, well equipped, spacious, clean in fact the owners have thought about almost everything, the one thing it could do with is a larger fridge. Owners were lovely and welcoming, even providing wine, bear, biscuits, chocs, juice and crepes. The property was excellently furnished with high standard mod cons and complete with outdoor games. Ideal position for the lovely beaches and touring. June 2012.

  3. Cannot recommend highly-enough! The house is spacious and well-furnished, and the garden and leisure equipment absolutely fantastic. A large, trampoline, good size football goal and net, full-size basketball post, a swing and slide, table tennis table, badminton kit, barbecue and a super table football table. Our two + year-old grandson, who was with us, had to be dragged out of the garden on leaving day! Everything worked (remember to prop the inside doors when the patio doors are open, though)! TV has English programmes. It’s only a five-minute drive to watch the sunset at Trévignon where there are sandy beaches as well as a harbour, and there’s a terrific little (Italian!) restaurant in St Philibert. In Tregunc itself, the boulangeries are, well typically-brilliant French cake and bread shops and there’s a street market on Wednesdays. The owners of the property were also fantastic. Entertaining - despite our lack of solid French and their lack of solid English - and discreet in that they saw us in, helped when we needed it, and saw us out, with the usual extra hour we needed to pack! They also gave us a lovely present of cakes, biscuits and wine when we arrived. The only, even vaguely relevant thing we would have changed, was to have a toilet in the en suite of the downstairs double bedroom, but that in no way diminished our enjoyment of the house.   4. Very friendly owners (who do not speak English) who have a marvellous and most spacious family home with everything you need. Large garden with many different sporting facilities of which the trampoline was the most popular with our grandchildren! Access through the owners property to the town centre is ideal and is only a few minute’s walk away. Tregunc has a marvellous market and is conveniently situated to visit other towns in the region - local beaches lovely as well. July 2011.

  7. The house was perfect for us and the garden a real treat. Our 3 children enjoyed all the games and the trampoline, with all the space to run around in it was great. Our parents came with us and there was plenty of space for all of us. The owners left us lovely welcome gifts of cake, wine, biscuits And sweets. The town of Tregunc is friendly and the local Patisserie was in walking distance and supplied lovely croissants. There was lots to explore in the local area with Pont Aven being a favourite of ours. There are also lots of gorgeous beaches to explore. We had a great time Mainly due to the house and it’s location. We would love to go back. May 2011.

  10. The accommodation is bright and airy, a real home from home. It is extremely well equipped to a very high standard. The living accommodation is spacious and ideal for a larger group on holiday together, especially if anyone wants some time to themselves. The garden is fabulous for children (and grown ups!) with all of the games/trampoline/loungers. We all loved the ’secret garden’ at the bottom of the garden in the wooded area, magical for two 5 year olds. The property is ideally placed in the lovely town of Tregunc, within walking distance of the boulangerie, shops and restaurants. However, the property is situated off the street via a quiet lane and is very secluded and not overlooked. The owners are lovely people and we appreciated their gifts of galettes, wine and a home baked cake! Aug 2010.
  11. The property was hidden jewel, away from the main road - it was hard to believe that we were only 500 yards from the town - it seemed as if we were in the midst of the countryside. The grounds to the property were enormous - perfect for children (I had 5 with me) with great outdoor entertainment from full size trampoline, table tennis, basketball, slide and swings to football goal. The house itself was modern and fitted with top end equipment from coffee machine to excellent washing machine. No criticisms at all from us - indeed we all want to go back, and when we win the lottery buy it and live there! July 2010.

  1. Lovely cottage with a nice shared pool. Pretty rural location but close enough to the local town for pain free morning runs to the Patisserie. Would benefit from more information on local restaurants and day trips. What you really need , if you are new to the area, is a couple of restaurant tips for each of the local towns. Also, like nearly all French villas/cottages, some decent pillows and bigger beds would be welcome. Does anyone still sleep in beds smaller than queen-size these days? UK TV was welcome as the Olympics were on during our stay. Another bonus was the property had 2 ensuites. Hint: add this to the property description! July 2012.

  1. For a large family group the house was an ideal size, however the garden was not secure around the side so children could get out. It was just a short walk to a shallow, sandy and rock pool beach so ideal for children. The area was very interesting for all members of the family. Aug 2011.

  1. The house is very spacious, homely and comfortable. The phrase "shabby chic" may come to mind but that should not detract from the charm of this property. The area doesn’t boast a great deal of tourist attractions and you will have to be prepared to travel if you want to visit places of interest. Take the train to Nantes from St Pazanne - interesting and good value for money. St Naziare is a good day out. July 2011.
